EIC Sixth Form Trip to Morocco

EIC Sixth Form Trip to Morocco

Twenty-one students from the EIC Sixth Form went to Morocco on Wednesday in support of a number of the school's perennial charities. It was wonderful to meet up with our contact, Enrique, and to visit three chosen centres that receive our ongoing assistance. Students were exemplary, getting first hand experience of a maternity care centre for new borns, a school for the profoundly deaf and a school for children with Down syndrome. We made connections, played and celebrated with the young people in each venue; eye-opening and uplifting in equal measure, our students will have come home the richer for the experience.

Many thanks to those parents, students and families who donated money, clothes and toys; we can assure you that they are warmly received and provide incredibly useful support.
