Fire Station Visit - Year 2

Latest News

We had a great time at the fire station. First we saw the clothing that fire-fighters wear to protect them. Then we were blown around by a smoke clearing machine. After that we used a special heat seeking camera. The most exciting part of the day was dressing up as firemen and using a hose to aim at a basketball. Finally we got to ride in a fire engine. It was great fun.

Year 3 had a very interesting and informative trip to Malaga last Friday where we visited the Roman Ruins and learned about the long history of the theatre. The guide delivered the tour in Spanish and we were lucky enough to have some fluent young Spanish speakers who did an amazing job of translating very accurately to help those who needed it. A fantastic day out.

Y12 and Y13 Travelled to Morocco

On Friday Year 10 visited the Coca Cola factory in Malaga where they were warmly welcomed for a tour of the bottling plant and quality control laboratory. We also had time to sample some of the products!
