Thank you to everyone who turned up on Saturday 30th April. We had chosen the puente weekend as we thought ex-students would have been able to travel from abroad, but lots of people here used the puente to go away; the Concert in Fuengirola and the Feria de Pueblos also caused a lot of traffic jams. Although we were few, we had a great time catching up with all the news and reminiscing about the good old days.
One of the ladies, Veronica Bourquin, was one of the original students here when the EIC opened. Interestingly, she was also the first ex student to bring her children to EIC. I have taught her three boys, one of which, Bilal, studied Biomedical Science at Imperial College and graduated as a doctor from the University of Cambridge; he is presently specialising in Ophthalmology - congratulations Bilal.
