It was the turn of the Year 13 Drama group who over the last 2 weeks completed their component 2 A-Level practical examination which has also been adapted to one solo performance this year. Each student performed a monologue from their chosen play text including: The Seagull by Anton Chekov, A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams, Road by Jim Cartwright and Pretentious Young Ladies by Molière. Roisin, Ellie, Evie and Leah showcased their talent and sophisticated interpretations of character as they gave captivating, confident and accomplished portrayals. This was the last official practical examination for the Year 13 drama group and they are to be congratulated on their perseverance, commitment and hard work in overcoming numerous hurdles over the last few months in some very challenging circumstances. Their final performances certainly brought the curtain down on all their dramatic accomplishments.
