Our Primary students enjoyed themselves immensely on Friday as they took part in EIC's House Day. The excitement had been building throughout the week and when the day came, even the rain could not dampen our spirits!
Managing to maintain our safety bubbles, teachers organised a variety of practical activities. The children were challenged to complete tasks and were awarded house points depending on team work, manners and completion of the task. The newly appointed House Captains were given quite a responsibility to assist and run these activities alongside the teachers - they really impressed us.
During the afternoon, the PE Department organised a splendid Swimming Gala for KS2 students which saw all children swim at least one race. The enthusiasm and supportive cheering was heartwarming to see and the sportsmanship on display was even more impressive than the swimming itself!
An amazing day was had by all. A huge thank you to all of the teachers for working together under the guidance of Miss Nicola, who ensured that the day ran without a hitch! All that is left to wonder is who will win the House Trophy this year?
