As part of our Year of Environmental Awareness we held a sign making competition for our new recycling bins on our campus. Students had voiced concerns that people seemed unsure which items belong in which bins. Under the watchful eye of Miss Carmen and the KS3 tutor team, students started designing posters during a PSHE lesson/mentoring session. I received 23 entries from KS3 pupils and the judges decided to award first prize to three entries. The three individual winners were YuFan, Miranda and Sophia. Successful runners-up were Team Masha, Italia, Gini and Mira; Team Alicia, Sofía, Paloma; as well as Team Elena, Lexy and Lucía. Every participant has gained lots of house points for their house.
Let’s keep our campus clean and tidy by using our bins properly and by placing all rubbish in its rightful place. Thanks for your support.
