Despite the best intentions of the indecisive weather, after a number of postponements, we were able to allow students in Years 7-10 on separate days to represent their House Teams with individual tenacity and collective pride, throughout a 10 day period.
As the clouds parted and the sun peeked through, students took off down the beach in impressive form. In one race the head wind was so severe we had to reverse the entire race to enable students to make the most of the tail wind!
Every student from Year 7 to Year 10 completed the same two lap course totalling 2.5km.
There were some outstanding performances and some exceptional levels of endurance on display.
Impressive times posted by Millie & Louis have set a new peerless benchmark for years to come.
To all medal winning cross country runners congratulations from the P.E. Department on a very competitive house event.
