As part of our Science topic on Sound, Year 4 went to the Interactive Museum of Music in Malaga, arriving on a beautiful sunny Spring morning. The first half of the visit was participating in a workshop playing a wide range of instruments under the instruction of one of their music teachers. The second half of the trip involved going on a guided tour looking at the origins and history of musical instruments, as well as learning about different instruments from around the world. We had the opportunity to play instruments in the Red Rooms which was great fun with everyone taking turns to play the violin, guitar, piano and many other instruments to name but a few. I think everyone liked the gong the most!
