In conjunction with Produnas, Year 9 spent the morning at our local beach providing continued conservation support of our dunes. Beatriz, a Produnas representative, sent us this lovely message:

We are very grateful for the involvement, dedication and care with which you treat the dunes. It is always a pleasure to work and run activities with you. No matter the task at hand, you always end up surpassing yourselves.
A million thank you’s for promoting Produnas and dune conservation. This goes to all teachers who helped this morning and have worked as hard as the students, but above all, to the students who, working as a team, were able to eradicate more than 600 kg of invasive alien species in less than two hours.

Os estamos agradecidísimos por la involucración, dedicación y mimo con él que tratáis a las dunas. Con vosotros siempre es un placer trabajar y hacer actividades. No importa el curso, siempre termináis superándoos.
Un millón de gracias a ti por promoverlo, a los demás profesores que han venido esta mañana y han trabajado como todos los chicos, pero sobre todo, a los chicos que trabajando en equipo fueron capaces de erradicar más de 600 kg de especies exóticas invasoras en menos de dos horas.
