The EIC has been supporting the Red Cross in Fuengirola for the past 11 years. Last year alone, we helped over 400 families with your generous donations of food and essential household items at Christmas time, raising a cash equivalent of a staggering 12,359 Euros.

Now, it’s that time again! The Red Cross van is coming, but unfortunately, the number of families in need is greater than ever this year. We therefore once again call upon you, our EIC Family, for your unwavering generosity and support to help provide some relief to families in our local community this Christmas.
Did you know that 40% of children in Andalusia live in poverty?
Are you aware that 1 in 4 children go to bed hungry each night?
For just 25 euros you can feed a family of 4 for 5 days.
Therefore, 100 euros can feed 4 families for 5 days OR one family for a month. It may not sound like much, but it can make the biggest difference.
On each of the 5 days, a different collection of items will be requested from “Give someone breakfast, lunch or dinner” by donating items such as cereal, tinned food, pasta sauce or juice cartons, to “Give Cleaning and Household essentials” by donating items such as bleach, washing up liquid, washing powder or antibacterial cleaning spray.
This year, as EIC celebrates its 40th Year, we are calling upon ALL of our EIC Family to help with the campaign: students, ex students, parents, extended family and friends. We need you to help encourage the joy of giving. We have some fun activities planned, so please keep an eye out for these and join in if you can.
