Year 6 - Evolution Conclusion

Year 6 - Evolution Conclusion

Darwin observed that beak shape varies among finch species. To understand why, Year 6 tested the efficacy of different shaped gripping items on collecting varying food sources and determined which would be better in each case. The experiment helps them understand the need for animals to evolve and by doing so, maximise survivability by adapting to their environment.
