It is so fantastic to be able to get back to International School Competitions after a 3 year hiatus. This year's Primary Cross Country competition, hosted by EIC, was held at our local beach. There were 8 participating schools from along the coast and over 250 children took part. It is always a risk hosting an event in February, but the elements were firmly on our side and we could not have asked for more perfect conditions. The beautiful scenery, combined with the sun and sand, created a unique and memorable experience for all the children, well done to all of you.
I would like to say a huge thank you to the parents of the PTA who marshalled on the day and who were effervescent in the cheering and motivating of the students around the course. I would also like to give a special mention to the Years 5 and 6 boys and girls, who all finished inside the Top 10 in their races - an amazing achievement!
