Earlier this month, some Year 10 and 11 students took part in the Intermediate Maths Challenge, testing their lateral thinking and logical deduction skills in a range of questions beyond the curriculum.
The results came in and our students performed exceptionally. 16 students received a certificate, placing them in the top 50% of all entrants, and 5 students received a gold certificate, placing them in the top 10%.
A special mention goes to Lia in Year 10, who has qualified for the next round of the competition. This is a highly selective follow-on round, and means she was in the top 600 of all entrants in her age group around the world.
Well done to all our students who took part.
