Thank you to the Sur in English for providing students with this creative outlet to showcase their astounding talents.
Anita was awarded the best Secondary Art prize for her “brash 'in yer face'” portrait of a friend (two years in a row for EIC Secondary Art!) and Julie was awarded Secondary Art Special Mention for her beautiful “abstract patterned reptilian” piece. Katya recently achieved global success as runner-up in the COBIS Poetry Competition and now again winning the best Primary Poem prize! The EIC is delighted for Irma who has once again come runner-up for Secondary Poetry. Many congratulations to Vera who was recognised for the Selected Secondary Poem prize showing consistency after winning the Secondary Poem last year.
