It's always amazing when children talk about who has inspired them to do something, or to step outside of their comfort zone. It is even more wonderful when the work of one student inspires another. This is exactly what happened for our latest novelist, Sophia, in Year 2, who was inspired to write her story "Princess Star and Magical Gold Coins," as a result of Kendra's success when she wrote and published her first novel in Year 2.
The book took two months for Sophia to complete and it has a beautiful message about helping others, being kind and not expecting things in return.
Sophia had the opportunity to present her book to our school librarian, Miss Katia. All students in the school will now have the opportunity to take out Sophia's book, read it at home and find out all about the adventures of Princess Star.
We hope that Sophia has inspired some more of our other students to be creative and get writing!
Well done, Sophia - we are all so proud of you.
