Last Friday saw Halloween once again descend upon The EIC in a freakishly fabulous way!
Wake Up Spook Up had the Primary school getting “dem dancing bones” working to full capacity with parents not only watching in awe, but then joining in and dusting off the cobwebs. Year 7 made a return to their old haunts, alongside Mrs Clarke, to showcase their work from their recent dance unit with a frighteningly good version of Thriller.
The Haunted House was replaced this year with a Tunnel of Terror for the older Primary and Secondary students. This live interactive experience was certainly thrilling and terrifying in equal measure, and our thanks must go once again to the PTA, led by Su, for an incredible piece of mastery.
There were lots of tricks and plenty of treats with activities galore put on by the Primary House Captains and PTA, discos, a Halloween tómbola and the unveiling of the new candy floss machine.
Fun mixed with freaky as costumes ranged from super heroes to the walking dead, encompassing both age and individuality.
What a way to end the first half term of this academic year!
The EIC does Halloween 2023!! Until next year…mwah ha ha ha ha ha!!!
