This half term our focus in PE lessons has been on the team sports of basketball and handball and a selected squad of students from Years 8 & 9 had the chance to put their skills to the test at a basketball tournament attended by 8 other schools from along the coast.
Both the boys' and girls' teams won their groups unbeaten and progressed to the semi-finals. The boys narrowly lost their semi-final against a tough Sotogrande team. The girls cruised through their semi-final 14-2 against St. Anthony's setting up a final against Laude who were also unbeaten up to this stage.
In the final our girls played superbly as a team, outplaying Laude and comfortably winning the final 16-6, coming home as CHAMPIONS!
