Last night, a formal dinner was hosted at Max Beach, bringing together Year 11 students and their teachers. The event aimed to celebrate the achievements of the students and provide an opportunity for reflection and recognition. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the food and service were faultless.
After the usual presentations of light, humorous awards for each Year 11 student, Krish and Sonia, the Year 11 student representatives, surprised their teachers with a new twist: a teacher award! They thanked their teachers for their unwavering support and commitment to the students. Examples of certificates given out included "The Energizer", "The Creative Lesson Planner", and "The Student Advocate", which touched each teacher.
This was another occasion that proved how close-knit the EIC community is; undoubtedly, there is a special bond that unites the students and the teachers. The dinner was a memorable and meaningful occasion, and everyone appreciated the opportunity to celebrate in such an elegant and thoughtful setting.
