Year Two celebrated the end of the year with a special assembly. The assembly began by celebrating the diversity of languages spoken in our year group, opening with a song. We then went on a journey, as 2S told the story, 'Around the World with Max and Lemon'. After traveling all around the world and meeting many different children, Max learnt that we are all unique. After that, 2L taught us all about how to survive on Cocos Island. Their beautifully explained survival guide will help anyone who gets stranded on a desert island. Then, the children entertained us by continuing the theme of traveling around the world with a fantastic scene spoken in Spanish, including a fun dance! Finally, we completed our journey with a repeat performance of the Summer Fiesta dance, which certainly finished the show with high spirits and big smiles! All of the children chose to have speaking parts in this show and they spoke very confidently in English and Spanish. We are so proud of their wonderful performance! They have definitely survived Year Two in style and now they are ready for their next challenge in Year Three!
