Year 6 Leavers' Assembly 2024

Year 6 Leavers' Assembly 2024

What a fun and memorable Year Six Leavers’ Assembly! Year Six took on the task of finding Romeo in our production of ‘Romeo, Romeo, Wherefore art thou Romeo?’ Romeo had vanished off the face of the Earth, leaving on holiday without saying a word to Juliet.

When she received a cryptic message in a bottle from Romeo, she set about at once to find him with the aid of two friends, the clues in the message and Chat GPT, knowing that he was on an island somewhere in the world! After hiring an agency to provide detectives, they set off with Sheerluck Mahomes, Doctor Whatsup and the rest of Team One to Iceland, only to land up at the Iceland supermarket in Puerto Banus! Since Team two was now tasked with finding Romeo, the Scoobididoos took over and followed a headline in the Hello Magazine, stating that Romeo, Cruz and Harper were island hopping in the Med. They found Cruz quickly with the aid of Artificial intelligence, knowing that if they found Cruz, it would lead to Romeo. Little did they know it wasn’t Cruz Bechkam they found but Cruz Gibson! Nor did they realise it wasn’t even the right Romeo either! After a case of mistaken identity, the Bondos took over. Daniel Craig, Sean Connery and Team Three ended up in Madagascar, where although they didn’t find Romeo, they did find Jurgen Klopp! Finally, the Not-So-Solid Crew of rappers including M&M and 50 Pence took charge to find Romeo M, but they couldn't believe it when it turned out to be Romeo Miller, not Romeo Montague! Finally, the President of Chat GPT took over, unhappy that his AI technology wasn’t up to scratch and tracked him down. He flew in Romeo Montague to join Juliet Capulet and friends in the VIP section to watch Taylor Swift live. Finally reunited, the teams joined Taylor Swift in singing ‘Love Story’.

After the show, we had breakfast in the Secret Garden with all the mums and dads as well as grandmothers and grandfathers too. After our breakfast, we returned to the Main Hall to watch a wonderful powerpoint of photos of the children’s EIC school lives, going way back to Early Years! What a great morning! Thank you to everyone involved in making this such a memorable day.
