Our second annual #JeansforGenes Day has exceeded all expectations, with the EIC community raising an incredible 1,792€ for the DEBRA Butterfly Children charity. This impressive total has been further elevated to an astounding 7,792€, thanks to an anonymous and extraordinarily generous donation of 6,000€. Such a gesture of kindness, from the community as a whole, transcends mere financial support, embodying the compassion and empathy that unite us in helping those in need.
The DEBRA Butterfly Children charity is a global organisation dedicated to supporting children affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a rare and painful genetic skin condition. They work tirelessly to provide medical care, fund critical research, and offer emotional support to these courageous children, helping them lead better lives despite the immense challenges they face.
