“Everyone's favourite Rags-to-Riches story. The Smash Hit "Hard Knock Life" musical of "Tomorrow".
On Wednesday evening, the Year 10 and 11 GCSE and Year 13 A-Level Drama students attended their first live performance of the year to see the iconic musical "Annie" at the Salón Varietés Theatre in Fuengirola. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, she charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. It was a wonderful experience for them to see this well known story performed live, in addition to supporting one of our very own EIC students, Hannah in Year 9, who was performing in the production.With a high standard of acting, singing and dance bringing the story to life, it was a great opportunity for them to see how the use of set, costume, music and lighting can enhance a live performance. A great evening was had by all.
