The Year 4 assembly was a resounding success! Combining humour, learning, and musical flair, we embarked on a journey back to ancient Rome to answer the question, 'What did the Romans ever do for us?' (as it turns out, quite a lot) and went on an Adventure through the Digestive System. At every turn, the audience was expertly guided by the students, who showcased their knowledge, talents, and creativity.
What a spectacle it was as the children marched onstage with their impressive Roman shields and helmets, all crafted in class. The show-stopping song Just Like a Roman had the audience humming along all weekend. Equally captivating was Sam the Sandwich's epic journey through the human body, with each organ explaining its role with enthusiasm and humour.
The effort and enthusiasm of the students shone brightly throughout the performance, making it a true celebration of their hard work and teamwork. Congratulations to Year 4 and their dedicated teachers for delivering such a polished, educational, and thoroughly enjoyable production. It was an experience the audience won’t soon forget!
