Last Friday it was Year 3's turn to host an assembly and it is safe to say that the afternoon was a resounding success! Taking us on a whistle-stop tour of some of the Kings and Queens of England, the Riotous Royals of Year 3 performed with confidence and ease on the stage. From William the Conqueror and his Bayeaux tapestry, to King John and the Magna Carta, to the infamous Henry VIII and his 6 wives, Queen Anne and her Union of the States, and finally culminating in the present day with King Charles III taking over from Queen Elizabeth II, all of the children performing taught the audience about each particular period in History.
The hard work and enthusiasm of the children was evident and their performances clearly showed their love and passion for this topic. Congratulations to all of Year 3, your teachers are proud of the polished performances you gave.
