It was an early start for Friday Fitness with a small team of students and parents joining in. Kye and Isaak were ready to go at 8am, followed shortly by Lenny, Lucy, Felix, Sammy, Guille, Santi, Lenny, and Mrs. Sadtler & Mrs. Meyer.
The general vibe on the campus was amazing as students from different year groups mixed and played a variety of sports. It was a pleasure to see the older Secondary students leading and playing with the younger Primary students, making that special family feeling all the more evident at our school. A highlight was most definitely the Sixth Form students who had fun playing dodgeball and tag. Brigitte even discovered she actually enjoys running whilst completing laps of the football field!
There was an exciting football match between Secondary students against Primary students and parents. A close match that was thoroughly enjoyable with some future stars emerging - Len, Joel, & Beau all showing their skills and determination to play good football. Parents had to drag them off the field to go home!
Unfortunately, we never made it to the 12 hours as we finished at 6:30pm, meaning we at least managed to do 10 and a half hours of fitness and exercise. A special thank you to Thomas, Mia, and Lia who played volleyball all the way to the end!
Thank you to everyone who helped out playing all types of sports throughout the day, from basketball, football, tennis, volleyball, dodgeball, tag, team games, and paddle. It was a fun-filled day and I was very happy to be a part of it. Although I went home and straight to bed, and couldn't walk properly on Saturday, my happiness and mental health were the highest they have ever been.
A huge thank you to the 6th formers who helped out throughout the day, especially Leo, Louis, Santi, Nojhan, Nick, Rodrigo, Antonella, & Amelia.
