On Valentine's Day, Year 2 enjoyed sharing some of the learning that they have been LOVING over the last half term. The children started by sharing some of their Science work about different Habitats, including a Talk for Writing Poem all about Animal Homes and they even had a super catchy song prepared, with actions. Next, the Year 2 children shared some facts about Significant People and Explorers. The children retained some very tricky sentences and were able to recite their lines clearly.
After that, we had Mr Whoops mixing up the order of a Fact File from their English lessons, so the children fixed the mistakes and shared their understanding of a Fact File. Finally, the children shared the love and sang a very sweet song all about the love they feel towards the Significant People in their lives-family and friends.
Year 2 loved creating a Valentine's Day collage with their parents after the assembly and were also proud to share their workbooks and classrooms.
