On Monday 31st March, it was the turn of the Year 11 Drama groups, who performed a selection of monologues and duologues as part of their second practical GCSE examination. 14 Students each performed two extracts from playtexts including Accidental Death of An Anarchist, 4.48 Psychosis, The Cagebirds and Girls Like That.
It is by no means an easy task to perform live in front of an examiner from Pearson and an invited audience, and all students are to be commended and congratulated on their hard work and commitment during preparations, and also for giving focused, engaging, mature and impressive portrayals that demonstrated their acting skills and confidence. We look forward to seeing their results in August!
